Give Mini Stars[edit]

While playing MP9, Yoshi handed on a Bowser Space and had to give up 15 bananas to last place. (I was playing on DK's Jungle Ruins). Me and Koopa Troopa were tied for last, and Bowser gave them to me. Can somebody confirm who Bowser gives mini stars/bananas to if more than one is tied? Like is it by player order or is it random? (I was playing as Birdo against Shy Guy, Koopa and Yoshi, all set to Master).

Win a lifetime supply of cotton candy[edit]

This is in the Island Tour section, whilst I know Bowser can give useless things from Bowser Spaces, this one seems a little hard to believe. Is there any source for this? Yoshi876 (talk)

An IP added that. The same IP also added correct information for Mario Party DS, though. So I have no idea. I guess it's the Island Tour's version of receive a million stars or something. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 15:04, 13 December 2013 (EST)

Mario Party 10[edit]

Videos of the German (?) version of Mario Party 10 show that the Bowser Space is in Mario Party mode. The spaces are rare, if not absent because Bowser is locked away (Bowser appears on the gamepad in a cage with 6 locks and a cutscene during the 'Almost There' event shows him in the cage (if he's still there) with the remaining locks). If Bowser is not freed before the 'Almost There' event, then Bowser Jr. will create more Bowser Jr. spaces. If all the numbers on the Dice Block are rolled at least once, then Bowser gets out, steals half the mini stars from the one who freed him, and replaces the Bowser Jr. spaces with Bowser Spaces, even if the extra ones are not present yet. The spaces function similarly to the Mario Party 9 version and the Mario Party 10 version of the Bowser Jr. Space. The videos can be found as references in the Bowser Jr. Space article.

Island Tour Fake Events[edit]

Hello. In the UK version of Island Tour, where about 80% of the text is different, the fake bowser events have different names, although I can't remember the names of them on the top of my head. Does anyone know them and can they add them? I definitely know they're different. TheIceCream (talk) 17:16, 27 June 2018 (EDT)

Do you have the game? If so, can you find them? Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 17:20, 27 June 2018 (EDT)
I do but I have no way of accessing Shy Guy Shuffle City again because I was with some people back then and I only have 1 3DS. If someone else has the UK version, then it would help. TheIceCream (talk) 05:23, 28 June 2018 (EDT)

Mario Party 1 Present/Star Steal[edit]

The section here reads "The cursor very rarely lands on these events. If it does, Bowser leaves and does nothing." Is there any source for this statement? Opening the ROM in HxD, I see that all of the Bowser Space text strings are from address 00FCEF4C to 00FCFDC8, and there's no text at all about him running away or not doing anything for one of these results. It's possible that he just runs away without any text appearing if the cursor lands on these options, but I'm skeptical that that's the case - without any video proof of it, I'm expecting the game's just programmed to never land on one of those options.

There's video evidence of it happening in Mario Party[1] Mario Party 2[2], and Mario Party 3[3] Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 16:13, April 23, 2022 (EDT)
...but 1) I'm fairly certain this is specifically talking about MP1, and 2) that first video is actually MP2. RickTommy (talk) 03:24, April 25, 2022 (EDT)
Ah I see. I'm bad with N64 Mario Party, as they all mesh together to me sometimes. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 23:08, April 25, 2022 (EDT)

Part of This Edit[edit]

So an IP address recently added in information that's not fully true. While it is true that Bowser Spaces are replaced by Bad Luck Spaces in Super Mario Party, Bowser Spaces do not appear in Mario Party: Star Rush or Mario Party: The Top 100. Should I undo part of that edit or leave it as is? Thanks. Mari0fan100 (talk) 20:37, August 26, 2022 (EDT)
