The Kamekame Sangoshō is an island that appears in Super Mario World! Yoshi no Tamago of the Super Mario Kodansha manga. Just like Mother Yoshi no Shima, it is shaped like the Loch Ness Monster, the difference being the presence of a lagoon in the center of the island.
After Bowser kidnaps Mother Yoshi, he claims to be going to Kamekame Sangoshō. Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Yoshi are guided by Oumu to the place, but due to the mist they initially blame him for making them go in circle, mistaking the destination for Mother Yoshi no Shima where they departed. After being captured by the Koopalings' pirate ship and caused it to crash onto the island, throwing the Koopa Kids overboard, the mist has dissipated enough to see they actually arrived to Kamekame Sangoshō.
While dealing with Bowser throwing enemies at them from the Nessie's head hill, he reveals that his plan consists in making Mother Yoshi hatch the Devil Yoshi egg, then disappears with her after destroying the hill and creating holes in the ship. Before they can sink in shark-infested waters, the Winged Yoshis the heroes rescued pull up the ship and follow Bowser to Devil Yoshi no Tō.
