History[edit]

Mario no Daibōken[edit]

Mario no Daibōken marks the first appearance of "GO GO Mario!!". It was released as a cassette single on April 21, 1986 and as part of Mario no Daibōken/GO GO Mario!!.

Mario & Zelda Big Band Live[edit]

The Mario & Zelda Big Band Live concerts, held on September 14, 2003 at Nihon Seinenkan Hall in Tokyo, Japan, included a big band arrangement of "GO GO Mario!!" arranged by Shigeo Nukita. It was performed by The Big Band of Rogues, and vocals were provided by Seiko Matsuda. The arrangement lacks the sound effects and "1-Up" arrangement heard in the music video.

The arrangement is included on both the DVD and CD recordings of the concert; on the DVD tracklist, it is titled simply 「GO GO マリオ」 ("GO GO Mario"), while on the CD tracklist, it is titled 「GO GO マリオ (ファミコン:「スーパーマリオブラザーズ」より)」 (GO GO Mario (Famikon: 'Sūpā Mario Burazāzu' Yori), "GO GO Mario (Famicom: From "Super Mario Bros.")").
