The effects of the 40-bai Capsule

The 40-bai Capsule is an invention of Hakase that appears in Super Mario: Donkey Kong 2 of the Super Mario Kodansha manga. It is a special capsule that turns who injests it forty times bigger for a long period of time. Unfortunately, a side effect is a rise in violence levels.

To study giant squids, Hakase gives one to a Gessori, but it goes feral and attacks Princess Peach's ship and its crew. When it goes after Donkey Kong, Hakase arrives and gives him a capsule, turning him into a giant, allowing him to defeat the Gessori. Later, the Giant Donkey Kong also turns feral and begins to destroy the Tower his minions were building as a wedding home for him and Pauline. With the girl located on top of the tower, Mario and Luigi goes to save her and, after managing to knock the Giant Donkey Kong out, the effects finally wear off and he returns to his normal size.
