The third Ghost House in the game. Common Ghost House enemies can be found, including Boos. More of a maze than a typical ghost house, this house has a multitude of doors in each room; not to mention several dead ends. Since most of the doors are either fake or go in circles, there is only one successful path. To add to the difficulty, it is a very dark level.

To get to the path that leads to the exit, Mario and co. must fall into the first gap, jump across the second and third gaps, fall into the fourth gap, and jump across the fifth gap.

There is a secret exit in this level that will take Mario and company to the World 5 cannon, which shoots Mario and co. to World 8.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: To get to this Star Coin, Mario and co. must jump across the first gap and enter the door ahead; they then need to go to the end of the room (specifically, to the middle-right side of the room). The Star Coin is located in a hidden passage.
  • Star Coin 2: For this Star Coin, Mario and co. need to fall into the first gap, followed by the second gap, and enter the door to the left; from there, they must go to the end of the room, where the Star Coin will be floating to the right of the exit.
  • Star Coin 3: To retrieve this Star Coin, Mario and co. have to fall into the first gap, jump across the second gap, go up the stairs, and fall into the third gap, where they must enter the door to the right. After they get past the first Circling Boo Buddies, they must go to the next group, and retrieve the Star Coin floating above them.

Secret Exit

To get to the secret exit, Mario and co. must fall into the first gap, jump across the second and third gaps, and finally, fall into the fourth and fifth gaps, where they must go through a hidden passage to the left-most door. After making it past the room, they will reach the secret exit, with only a lone Boo and a group of Circling Boo Buddies standing in their way.
