Sorry, but where did you find the Big Boo's Haunt Music Cut-out glitch? I've tried to duplicate it multiple times but the music continued as normal. If you have any video, I will be glad.--

The method was found mostly through my own testing, but I first observed it when watching this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKiTxIvMtI0#t=52

A surprising glitch for sure. I have no idea what causes it, but it works consistently for me. Perhaps the glitch doesn't work in the European or Japanese version. I'd like to see a video of it being tried out.

I actually still have about twenty glitches (five of my own discovery) left to add before I run out of new glitches. I keep them written down in NotePad and prewrite the descriptions before inserting them in the article. It makes it possible to add them all at once. That way, the edit page does not hide other users.

I have tried it on the north american version several times, none of them worked. If you can provide a video you made yourself or tell me here the exact (with exact I mean provide as much information as possible) route you used, that will be good. I'm not sure if you done this glitch yourself, because I don't consider the video you gave me as a reference. I've seen multiple people who post random gameplay and some clever editing to present a "glitch" which turns out after testing to be fake. There is a gameshark code that mutes the music.--

I would never lie about the existence of a glitch, especially this one. I tested it on the actual console and I assure you it works for me, but I don't know if it works on an emulator. I'd assume the glitch would be more likely to work when 120 stars are collected, since that is how Mario was when I performed the glitch. It was also on File D. Make sure while collecting the star you are actually inside on the inside of the third floor, and not on the outside. When I say 'Big Mr. I', I mean the boss battle that leaves a star when defeated. I do know that collecting a Vanish cap after performing the glitch resets the sound. Perhaps it works dependent on the console being a different revision? Mine was made in 1996 and is listed as NUS-001. I think later versions of the console use a slightly different set of chips, (reason Stop 'N' Swop was discontinued was RAM became less permanent), so perhaps your console won't work for that reason. It also could be dependent on the Cartridge. The one I have says it is part of the Player's Choice version, according to a seal on the label. You need to trust me on the existence of this glitch. I don't have recording equipment, but you should try tell another person about the instructions and see if it works. I might try to record something if it is REALLY, REALLY, necessary (because I have very little experience in that skill). But I want to exhaust every last option before doing that.
