Description

Why do so many users put down block|length=indefinitely. You don't have to put that down if the user is blocked forever you can just put down block |reason vandalism as it will automatically put indefinitely if no timestamp is chosen. The RPG Gamer (talk) (edits) 05:56, 4 June 2016 (EDT)

Block template

Is it legal to put a fake Block template at the top of my talk page by taking the code and deleting the categorizing code? Just curious.

Although very different templates, they have very similar names. Some users might get confused and use {{block}} when they should use {{blocks}}. Should the name of either template be changed? Thanks! -YFJ (talk · edits) 01:14, 10 December 2017 (EST)

This template is useless

What Alex95 said. Users may end up on the user's talk page through another discussion page with the intent of sending them a message only to find out they've been blocked and sending one may be pointless.
