::They are not similar by any stretch other than being music. I know the world 8 NSMBW map theme by heart, and listening to the Death Mountain theme from Zelda 1 while playing that in my head, I can find ''no'' similarities. I know that this is technically from NSMBW, but if Super Mario Maker 3 we’re to introduce a Volcano theme, I think that this level is the right way to go for the NSMBU style. While the music, ground, and lava raising/lowering thing is perfect for SMM3, the backgrounds of Princess Peaches castle in NSMBU’s volcano levels aren’t as appealing. That is why I am choosing NSMBW’s volcano levels for this style since their backgrounds of detailed volcano’s are much more fitting to me. Also, in SMM3, the night theme is that toxic gas slowly follows you from the right side of the screen and you have to avoid it until you either reach the end of the level or are killed instantly from touching it.

Music

The music for 8-1 is a remix of the music from Level 9 (Death Mountain) in the original The Legend of Zelda, right, cause I wrote that in the trivia section of World 8? Torey (talk) 19:38, 22 January 2018 (EST)
