Systems?

Has this been confirmed for any system? I think it's pretty sure it will be on both the DS and the Wii. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 16:11, 11 February 2009 (EST)

Details are still under lock and key; but I'm assuming they'll target BOTH the DS and Wii. Best to wait for a press release from Nintendo or Sega. --M. C. - "Mario Gals" Fan! User Page | Talk Page 16:14, 11 February 2009 (EST)

wii.ign confirm it, so at the very least a Wii version will be made. No word on a DS version at the moment. -- Booster (talk)

Just because IGN put it up on the Wii part of their site, that doesn't mean it's officially confirmed on the Wii. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 17:13, 11 February 2009 (EST)
Is this enough proof that it exist? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hyek6YbLvWw - Kamicciolo
I just saw the "news flash" via press release -- it is targeted for both the Wii and DS. As well as the official title for it. I'll do necessary adjustments here.

Tails, Daisy, and Knuckles

Their names appear in the scoreboard, right before the event starts. Luigifan95 18:07, 12 February 2009 (EST)

But they don't actually appear in the trailer or teaser, so we just put {{refneeded}} for them. Super-YoshiMust...eat...sig...Talk? C???
We still could note that they appeared on the scoreboard though. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 07:34, 13 February 2009 (EST)

More playble characters?

From the official site: Choose from your favorite cast of characters, including a few new faces.. Shall this meen there are more playble characters in this game than Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games? ArendLogoTransparent.pngrend (talk) (edits)

It's also possible that they remove characters from the previous games. Not likely, but possible. - Cobold (talk · contribs) 08:28, 13 February 2009 (EST)

Wow

Playables characters

The French Nintendo magazine confirmed tha the seven Sonic characters and the seven Mario characters will be playable. Ther's also a rumor that the 3 mascots of the olympic games of Vancouver may also be playable. However, my magazine failed in the water and so I can't scan it. Should we add this info or not ? Koopalmier 05:24, 28 February 2009 (EST)

The only mascot I can think of is a whale for Vancouver, we don't really have that many sports, mainly just hockey. But, is your magazine really damp? Did the ink get erased off it? You can try and upload it if you want. Super-YoshiMust...eat...sig...Talk? C???
The mascots are these; from left to right: Sumi, part Orca ("Killer Whale"), part Thunderbird, part Black bear; Quatchi, a sasquatch ("Big Foot"); and Miga, part bear, part Orca. They're all from First Nations mythology, with the sasquatch being the only mainstream entity. If Wikipedia is to be believed, there's also a Vancouver Island Marmot named Mukmuk involved, since Sumi is the Paralympic mascot... - Walkazo 23:57, 14 March 2009 (EDT)
