The Stylus is a pencil-like accessory that comes with the Nintendo DS. It is special and when it comes in contact with the Nintendo DS touch screen (bottom screen) something will happen, according to the game it is played. For example, in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis, moving the Stylus up on a Mini Mario will cause the Mini Mario to jump. It is also used in minigames such as Wanted! of Super Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros., where you must tap a certain character with the Stylus. Also in Wario: Master of Disguise a minigame required the player to smash cockaroaches using the stylus.
