The Shooting Rifle is an item found in Sparkleton in Mario & Sonic at The Olympic Winter Games. In order to get it, Mario or Sonic has to defeat Princess Peach at the Snow Machine Fight and get her into the party. Then, they have to talk to the Goomba near her and accept his challenge. If Peach completes it, he'll give her a Shooting Rifle. It helps Mario & cie to access the shooting missions. It is needed to participate in Biathlon and Ski Shooting missions, and to challenge in these events Knuckles and Amy, respectively.
