Yoshi's Island DS

Support

  1. Yoshi876 (talk) The article has lots of well-written, and detailed information; has quality images in it; and the story isn't written poorly unlike some previous games.

Oppose

  1. LeftyGreenMario (talk) The article is much better if we have a table listing each enemy and boss, providing a short description for them, just as in articles including Super Mario Bros., Super Princess Peach, New Super Mario Bros., and Wario Land II, and only Super Princess Peach is not featured and Super Mario Bros. are not featured.

Fantastic sprites Megadardery. YoshiKong (talk) 18:27, 21 April 2013 (EDT)

Is anyone going to be working on the enemies? I don't want to cut into other people's work, because I'm very tempted to add that table now. LeftyGreenMario (talk)

In theory a table sounds like a good idea. But assuming that we were to include the sprites of the enemy/boss, what will we do in the case of large sprites, like this freakshow. I don't think it would look great if a certain row was ten times taller than some. And I imagine it would be the same case with the bosses as well. YoshiKong (talk) 03:21, 24 April 2013 (EDT)

I don't think we'd need to include the sprites, seeing as New Super Mario Bros is featured and doesn't have them. And Lefty, Super Mario Bros isn't featured. Yoshi876 (talk)
I think we can resize the sprites as in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story article, and the resizing doesn't screw up the design badly either. In New Super Mario Bros.'s case, we don't have sprites for the enemy/boss because a whole deal of these enemies are models, and you can't really rip frames for models unless you screencapture on DSEm and crop it. If the game is based on sprites, then I strongly encourage the article for the game to provide sprites for the enemy in the enemy section. LeftyGreenMario (talk)
