What are you talking about? It's been a long time since I registered, but I don't remember a "verify your username" step... Either way, you username shouldn't have anything to do with your ability to edit, unless you've forgotten it and/or your password - in which case you'd need a new account, not a rename. Besides, you edited this page - that's doing something. Maybe the problem is that you're not autoconfirmed yet? That just means you need to make five edits in order to edit certain protected pages, move pages, upload files and create new articles. - Walkazo 16:27, 4 February 2013 (EST)
