In Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, there are some item shops where Mario, Luigi, Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi can travel to. Each shop has goods that benefit the Bros, in battles. Each good has a different amount, depending one the quality and value of each one. Each shop sells Mushrooms, Mushroom Drops, Refreshing Herbs and Peppers. Alongside the items, few shops also sell Clothing and Badges. Shops are mostly found in towns located across the Mushroom Kingdom, some samples are Peach's Castle and Toad Town.

- Gramma's Place, located in Toad Town
- Fawful's Bean 'n' Badge, located in Peach's Castle Dungeon
