The Booster Seat (also known as Baby Booster in PAL versions) is a kart that appears in Mario Kart Wii. The kart is a baby stroller with an engine and 2 exhaust pipes in the back, a pair of headlamps on the front of the vehicle, and a roof that tends to open when the characters jump from the cab. Only small characters can drive this vehicle.

Stats

  • Speed: Low
  • Weight: Low
  • Acceleration: High
  • Handling: Excellent
  • Drift: Medium
  • Off-Road: High
  • Mini-Turbo: Very High

The Booster Seat is the slowest kart in the game, while it shows an average drift. On the other hand, the kart shows a high acceleration, off-road and mini-turbo. The Booster Seat also has the highest level of handling among karts. However, it gets knocked around a lot due to its low weight. It shares the same stats with the Bit Bike.

Trivia

  • The Booster seat is the only vehicle other than the Star Bike in Mario kart Wii to go through a design change other than a palette-swap. The case here is that the fringes of the Booster Seat's roof are absent when one of the Baby Mario Bros. is driving it.
  • The hub caps of Dry Bones's Booster seat resemble a bird's eye view of his shell.
  • The Booster Seat may be an upgraded version of the Goo Goo Buggy and the Rattle Buggy from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
