Should the Yoshi's Island (series) be included in this article? Super Red Watermelon is what grants Yoshi fire spitting. There are some notable differences between Fireball that Yoshi can spit out and Fire Breath. The move from Yoshi's Island seems to fit more here. -- 01:29, 24 November 2016 (EST)

Merge Fire Power (Yoshi) with Fire Breath

Template:SettledTPP Template:ProposalOutcome

First of all, we don't know if this has a special name, like how Mario is given "Balloon Mario" and Luigi is given "Vanish Luigi", so the name "Fire Breath" is not official. Also, it's categorised as a "form", as it's more of a "special move" (Isn't it kind of strange to have a form that's named "Fire Breath"?). If it is a special move, then it isn't really any different from Bowser's fire breath, so I don't see why this should be a separate article. For example, both Mario and Yoshi's Ground Pound info are in one article, because there aren't any significant differences between them. Also, Yoshi's SMW fire attack is just an attack after eating a red shell, not a form, and same applies to SSBB. So without all that info, there isn't much left. Unless this "form" is given the official name if it exists, I think this article should be merged with Fire Breath.

 1. Electrical Bowser jr. (talk) comes from Bowser, and one comes from Yo-Yo. One is good, one is bad.
 2. YoshiCookie (talk) It is a power-up and we have the other Power Flower forms, so why leave out Yoshter?
 3. Koopa K (talk) Per my proposal here, this also violates Proposals Rule 6, No proposal can overturn the decision of a previous proposal that is less than 4 weeks (28 days) old.

This proposal might be invalid since it hasn't been one month since the proposal that split these two passed. Raven Effect (talk)

I think you're right, Raven. Even if it is valid, the name is official because of the quote shown above. YoshiCookie (talk) 10:15, 10 December 2015 (EST)

Where's this proposal? Also, the quote says he can "breathe fire" - That doesn't make the form's official name "Fire Breath". Mario jc (talk)

Okay then, thanks for linking it to me. But before I cancel the proposal, should I make a different proposal about renaming the article (unless the name is official)? Because like I stated above, "Fire Breath" for a form kinda doesn't make sense, plus it doesn't have the name "Yoshi" in it like the other Power Flower forms - just in brackets. Mario jc (talk)
I checked the manual. The official name is "Fire Power". I think we should move it. YoshiCookie (talk) 10:15, 10 December 2015 (EST)
