Malatone Formula:X Meets the Minions is a level in Plack Beach in the Bowser Jr.'s Journey mode of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, and is the introductory of Malatone-infected enemy troops.

Overview[edit]

Bowser Jr. and Kamek find two Goombas that seem normal, but when Kamek tries to talk to them, it turns out they are infected with the Malatone the same way Morton was. Meanwhile, back at Bowser's Castle, Kaley and Dieter are spreading the Malatone all across the Mushroom Kingdom. Back at the beach, the two Malatone-infected Goombas attack Bowser Jr. and Kamek, initiating a battle. The level has three battles.
