B Dasher Mk. 2, also known as Sprinter in North America, is a medium-sized Kart which appears in the game Mario Kart Wii. Only medium-sized characters can drive in this kart. Its appearance is based off of the Formula One cars and is probably the improved version of the B Dasher. This kart can be unlocked by unlocking 24 expert staff ghosts in Time Trials.

The Sprinter is one of the fastest vehicles in the game. Its weight is also manageable. Its drift is about average, but its other stats are rather low. It shares the same stats with the Sneakster.

Stats

  • Speed: Excellent

Trivia

  • The kart's U.S. name comes from the word "Sprint" which means to run as fast as one can.
  • The name B Dasher Mk. 2 is most likely a reference to the controls of the side-scrolling NES and GameBoy games - the player presses and holds the B button to dash. The Mk. 2 part is a Reference to Mario's DS Kart.
  • The Sprinter is the only medium-sized vehicle capable of surpassing the speed of the Flame Flyer. Ironically, it still has better handling.
