The Yossy Helper Team is a rescue team founded by Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, and Yoshi in Super Mario: Yoshi Island 3 of the Super Mario Kodansha manga. The members all wear a sash with the initials of their squad (Y.H.T.) written on it.
Bored to be left alone in their house to play with kids toys, and thirst for some justice, Baby Mario decides to create with Baby Luigi and Yoshi a rescue team to help people around the world. Using the news channel TVK, they locate the problem, use Yoshi's transformative abilities to reach it, and secure the area and the people in distress. Throught the manga, however, Baby Peach is mostly the focus of their rescue missions: already infatuated with her, Baby Bowser, aided by Kamek, tries everything to take her away and make her his girlfriend, thus alerting the Yossy Rescue Team, who save the situation. In most cases, Baby Mario and the others follow Baby Peach in incognito (by just wearing a pair of sunglasses) before coming out of hiding as the Y.H.T.
In chapter 3, the other Yoshis that helped Baby Mario and Green Yoshi during the Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island events come to help Green Yoshi and get to join the squad. Poochy also gets to join once Baby Mario rescues him later down the chapter.
In chapter 4, Baby Peach gets the desire to join the Yossy Helper Team, and lures them with a fake fire in her room. Disgusted by how Baby Peach worried everyone with a fake emergency, Baby Mario scolds her and tells her she will never be a part of the team with such mentality and then leaves. Right after then, Baby Bowser kidnaps Baby Peach, and when the news releases, Baby Mario does not believe it, so he is the only member to not join the rescue. Seeing as Baby Bowser set a trap for them, this is revealed to be a blessing in disguise, as Baby Mario, and Poochy, who remained with him, is then able to rescue his friends, Baby Peach, and her captor, who ended up in a real fire.
With Baby Peach having realized her mistake, she gets the chance to join the squad, but by the next chapter, the storyline gets abandoned to prepare for the next adaptation, Super Mario 64, with a chapter dedicated to the new functions that the Nintendo 64 introduces.
In the last chapter, it is revealed that Announcer Kinopio does not know the identities of the Yossy Helper Team, even though the characters do not make any effort to conceal their true identities.
