What is the "IMO" for, if the writing being unprofessional is an objective fact? --

- Maybe the sexualization of a fictional character that has nothing to do with games or anything and has no place in a wiki? LetsPlayNintendoITA 02:07, June 17, 2024 (EDT)
- That's not what i said at all. What i was saying is that the writing being unprofessional is an objective fact. I'm very well aware that the writing was out of place, which is exactly my point. --

- That's not the proper use of "objective", anyway. "Unprofessional", "creepy" and "inappropriate" are qualitative value judgement, though most people editing the wiki will agree on those terms (same goes for saying Kirby is cute, Wario is rude, Mario is short, etc). Objective would concern more directly quantifiable and observed terms (Kirby is spherical, Wario drives over speed limit, Mario is shorter than Peach).

Reverting Mario Party Icons[edit]
Hello! I saw you recently reverted my icons back to their un-transparent versions and I was curious what was wrong with them? They were perfectly transparent and I don’t understand the issue with them. Thanks.

Question[edit]
Hey! I saw that you just reverted my edit in Sparkle because of speculative wording. I don't want to edit war, and I completely understand where I went wrong. I still want to include the information, as I feel it is important. Do you have any better ideas on how I could word it? Thanks for your help! --

About the reversion of the DK and Diddy images[edit]
I noticed you reverted my edits to Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, citing policy not to use general artwork in place of game artwork, but what policy is that, exactly? I had discussed the decision on the Discord server prior to making the edits, and it didnt seem that the use of promo artwork would be a problem.--PopitTart (talk) 04:27, May 17, 2025 (EDT)
Why do you constantly revert the majority of my edits even the ones that are good?[edit]
Look I think we need to have a talk here okay? I want to improve the wiki here and you are making things difficult with your constant reverts. Can you please LEAVE. ME. ALONE? Only revert edits of mine that are actually needed here. I am fed up with it and I want it to stop NOW please. I don’t want to edit war here but I don’t want to keep dealing with this here alright? So how about we come to an agreement on how we should handle this going forward alright? --Wario876 (talk) 05:02, September 17, 2025 (EDT)
Coin Rush (Mario Kart Tour)[edit]
You reverted a recent edit requesting source.
recorded video of Esteban3000 gathering 426 coins on Tokyo Blur 3 coin rush [1]
older video of him gathering 424 coins and stating that he has gathered 427 while not recording [2]
This user has a long history of contributions to the Mario Kart Tour subreddit including datamining and high level skill demonstrations,[3] so when he says he has achieved 427 coins here, nobody on the subreddit doubts it. In any case the old value of 425 is demonstrably outdated.
Tokyo Blur 3 is the coin rush for the current tour lasting until September 30, so I consider it important to correct the page quickly.

Reverting edits / communicating with other users[edit]
The warning that was issued to Wario876 following their messages related to you was overturned, and I would suggest you read the appeal outcome for why we think they were misinterpreted as rude or negative. You have a tendency to excessively revert edits including those that may be deemed valid, mostly targeting not just Wario876 (like this - even if the article doesn't exist, it's supposed to be linked to if it needs an article) but also anons and other users with a history of reverted edits, often for the same vague reasons with no elaboration, and it's not the first time I had to remind you of this. Please cool it with the excessive edit-reverting and try to be more accepting of other users' edits, and from here on out it's expected that that you give more specific reasons than something like "extraneous IMO" (this for instance).
Also just as important, if a user confronts you about an issue, talk to them and hash it out first; don't rope the admins into a problem that you're perfectly capable of handling yourself as you've done with two admins with this one (and previously as well). If the user is being rude, tell them directly not to be rude, then if it escalates from there, that's when you reach out to an admin. Someone yelling at you may be rude, but it's also rude to refuse to respond to them when they come to you with a problem.
