A recent proposal has decided that a lot of the PAC-MAN-related names and articles should be written in all-caps, so uh, you're not allowed to revert that. If you wish to have them not spelled in all-caps, you have to create another proposal (28 days after the original at minimum), and hope that one passes.

- I apologize. The thing is I didn't know this needed a proposal. Like I said, Pac-Man may be written completely in capital letters in the Mario Kart arcade games, the Super Smash Bros. series, etc., but in a lot of secondary media, it is written normally. How exactly do Super Mario Wiki users make a proposal? Jake Lugo (talk) 18:11, September 30, 2025 (EDT)
- Refer to the rules over on MarioWiki:Proposals, if you're interested in creating a proposal. In addition, in the future, if you encounter something like that and aren't sure if it's because of a proposal, or just one editor's decision-making, be sure to check the page's history tab. It comes in handy more often than you might think!

- Very well. When I played Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac, the game's title is in all caps on the Home Menu, but in the actual game, Pac-Man is properly referred to in-game as "Pac-Man". I read the proposal and now I know that in nearly all of Pac-Man's Super Mario appearances, he is referred to in all caps as "PAC-MAN". Jake Lugo (talk) 19:28, November 30, 2025 (EST)

Mario vs DK blurb[edit]
Hi, I noticed that you added a description for Mario vs DK on the Game Boy Advance - Nintendo Classics page. I removed this for the moment because it couldn't come from the GBA app itself, since the game has not yet been released there. Could you tell me exactly where you got the blurb from? Thanks,

- I found the description on the Nintendo Switch Online page on my Switch 2. When a game is announced for a service, it is automatically added to the library on the Nintendo Switch Online page under the Nintendo Classics section, even if it isn't out yet. The Nintendo Classics section lists all Nintendo Classics applications aside from Virtual Boy - Nintendo Classics, so I wasn't able to add in-app details for Mario Clash and Mario's Tennis, only Mario vs. Donkey Kong. When you select a game from the menu, it shows the same description from when you press the X button on a game in the Nintendo Classics applications. Jake Lugo (talk) 04:07, March 10, 2026 (UTC)
