Hi everybody! If you don't know me, I'm Sparks, and thank you so much for helping me become Poll Committee Chairperson! If it weren't for your support, I wouldn't have achieved this position. Same goes for my trusted friend and Vice Chairperson, GoldGal64 (talk)! I'm happy to have her with me to lead the 16th Poll Committee! We're going to have so much fun this term!

Obviously the two of us won't make all of the polls by ourselves! The Poll Committee is run by several people, so we're looking for a maximum of 10 members to help! Are you looking to join a community-related group for the first time? The Poll Committee is just the place for you! Applications are due by March 31, with the official 16th Poll Committee being revealed April 1. Hey! That's the same day The Super Mario Galaxy Movie releases! Cool.

Here are the rules of sending applications:

1. Applications can be sent via Mario Boards or Discord. If you send an application with the Mario Boards, be sure to send it to both myself and GoldGal64. If you prefer to use Discord, send me a DM. Just remember that our activity will take place primarily on the Mario Boards, unless all of the committee wishes to use Discord.
2. Provide an introduction of yourself! I know many members already, but there's still a chance that I'll see some new faces I'm unfamiliar with. Explain why you'd like to join and your strengths for the committee.
3. Create an example poll so I can see what you've got! Who knows? Maybe your demo poll will be one we actually use!
4. GoldGal64 generously offered to create the Poll Committee banner, and it'll include lots of characters on it! Include an OC, AKA something you'd like to be represented by. The banner may not be complete until months into the term, so please be patient!
5. Do you have any companions in real life that you'd like to be honorary members? Think plushies. You can submit up to three to become honorary members! They won't count toward the member limit and they won't help us with poll matters, but they'll still bring us happiness! I plan on making Twilight Sparkle, Tepig and Ralsei (once I get him) honorary members.

Finally, a special thanks to Paper Plumm (talk) for leading an incredible 15th Poll Committee! We promise to keep the Committee in high spirits for another term. Aw yeah!
