So this page doesn't have Category:Capturable while New Donker does. This is presumably because Cappy is possessing the New Donker, and the player is indirectly gaining control of the RC Car. I think this reasoning is flawed for three reasons. The first is that Super Mario Odyssey is a video game, and video games are defined by their interactiveness. The lore of "possess New Donker" doesn't matter, what matters is that the player has gained direct control of the RC Car. The second is that this choice means our Category of capturable subjects is inconsistent with the Capture List, the definitive in-game list as to what can be captured in the game. The third is that the article Super Mario Odyssey inexplicably says both New Donker and RC Car can be captured, and this is really bad because both of those statements cannot be true at the same time. The only reason that article doing this is because of the wibbly-wobbly nature of not sticking directly to provided in-game organization. Which, as one might suspect I believe in, is precisely what we should be doing. So RC Car should gain Capturable, and New Donker should lose it. Salmancer (talk) 10:39, June 20, 2025 (EDT)
