This "creature" is nothing more than a different life stage of the Lunge Fish, and it doesn't even have a proper name. We already had a similar issue with Wiggler and Flutter; however, since the latter has a distinct name in several languages and is clearly differentiated, it was kept separate. That is not the case here. These are just baby Lunge Fish that are not distinguished by a unique name. Furthermore, the identifier should be '(baby)' or something similar, instead of '(small)'. Finally, the page contains almost no information and was blatantly created with a todo list just to leave the work to others. Sorbetti Mr. Sorbetti (talk) 23:02, July 10, 2026 (UTC)

I wasn't fully convinved at first, but after reading over the page myself... Yeah. This page isn't really that helpful, it should not have been allowed to release in this state.
Given the article's blatantly unfinished nature, lack of official proper name, all the other points you raised, and little sign of possible improvement in the near future leads me to agree that this really ought to be deleted. Wandering Poplin (talk) 23:16, July 10, 2026 (UTC)
"Lack of an official name"
Mr. E's line for suggesting the name for the juvenile Lunge Fish (after it had been renamed by the player) in Yoshi and the Mysterious Book
Just because it's shared with the adult Lunge Fish like every other magnified creature in the Miniword does NOT mean it's not official. The fact that it has a profile like this (alongside the fact that a juvenile acts very different from an adult Lunge Fish) is the VERY REASON I gave it a link on the creatures table on the Yoshi and the Mysterious Book page, as opposed to the Queen Piranha Plant. @Mr. Sorbetti Also, I've chosen the (small) identifier for the link at that page is because, as you can see on the screenshot above, literally one of the discoveries is "Helped hatch a small [Lunge Fish]!" This isn't less incorrect than Bunchabee (big). ArendLogoTransparent.pngrend (talk) (edits) 13:44, July 11, 2026 (UTC)
I didn't say that it doesn't have an official name, only that it doesn't have a proper one. So yes, the identifier works. That said, I'm still not convinced it's enough to justify a separate page. If the developers had given this thing a proper name, like "Baby Lunge Fish" or something similar, that would suggest they intended it to be treated as its own thing. Instead, it seems they want it to be viewed just as a Lunge Fish, unlike Baby Cheep, Baby Blooper, or Baby Yoshi, which all have distinct names. If it had a unique name, I'd be fine with a separate page, but I think this goes too far. I already agreed with Boo (Roy's Showdown!), but this feels excessive. The same applies to Bunchabee (big), which is very different from cases like Big Milde or Mega Milde. In any case, the current state of the page is pretty bad. If it's going to stay, it really needs to be improved. Sorbetti Mr. Sorbetti (talk) 14:06, July 11, 2026 (UTC)
Now, I do agree with that last bit. GuntherBayBeee left the page in a pretty poor state, almost as if he didn't actually care about it and created the page just for the sake of checking off another red link... which is not unlike his proposals about changes just for the sake of changes.
