Renaming to "KONG Letters"[edit]

Since no discussion was started about the subject, I might as well start it... So... should we move the page to "KONG Letters"? I mean Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze calls it like that, according to the instruction manual, and it's the latest game to use the letters, so logically it would make sense to rename it to its latest name, right? --Metalex123 (talk) 15:57, October 29, 2019 (EDT)

Maybe, that's the European manual, I'll check the US manual if I remember to (I won't be able to until the weekend). Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 16:01, October 29, 2019 (EDT)
English manual has them as "KONG Letters" as well (page 14). I'm for the move. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 16:27, October 29, 2019 (EDT)
So am I. And I believe you meant "North American" manual, Alex95. Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 16:32, October 29, 2019 (EDT)
Okay, I'll move the article then. Thanks for letting me know! EDIT: I can't move an article over a redirect actually, so if anyone can, please do... --Metalex123 (talk) 17:17, October 29, 2019 (EDT)
If that's the case, then just tag the obstructing redirect for deletion and then wait for an admin to do that part of the work for you. Toadette icon CTTT.pngFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 17:21, October 29, 2019 (EDT)

Plural title[edit]

Shouldn't it be "KONG Letter"? Spectrogram (talk) 11:28, August 25, 2022 (EDT)

I'd say no, since it's meant to refer to the K, O, N, and G pieces collectively. Some guides also have individual names for each; eg. the Donkey Kong Country Returns Prima guide refers to them as the "K Block", "O Block", "N Block", and "G Block". LinkTheLefty (talk) 11:47, August 25, 2022 (EDT)
Honestly I think we should for consistency, when we even rename [1] to singular, even though the object clearly consists of four bars, it only really makes sense to rename it too. Spectrogram (talk) 11:49, August 25, 2022 (EDT)
