I checked the game's text data to see if there was any reference to "Rage", but it doesn't look like there is. According to B700465189a9, it doesn't show up in the manual either. Is there any official use of "Rage" to refer to this status effect, or does it need to be changed/marked as conjectural?

- I think moving to Anger makes sense here? At least that's in a text box (much like the other color status effects in Roy's battle)...

- I agree. What's more, It doesn't appear that this page ever provided a source for the name of this effect, nor any of these "paint-inflicted status effects", meaning that they should have been marked as conjectural ages ago.
- If they aren't using outright made-up names, they're using somewhat arbitrary names which are loosely derived from the battle text that appears when they are inflicted. (Example: "Mario's feeling blue... He only wants to use blue cards." )
- It also leaves me skeptical about whether the uncited "Names in other languages" sections on these pages are the result of the same issue. Wandering Poplin (talk) 18:03, July 30, 2026 (UTC)
- Given that the foreign names listed for Rhythm and Self-conscious both happen to be straight-up sentences, that makes it pretty certain those are derived from those text boxes as well, while simultaneously proving the conjecture-ness of those names (at the very least they could've just shortened it to "bailar" and "ruboriza"...) rend (talk) (edits) 18:17, July 30, 2026 (UTC)
