Could Andrew possibly be that Mario Kart World Direct narrator...?[edit]
I've been watching the English video of the Mario Kart World Direct (the 4.17.2025 one), and as I compared the voices with Andrew from the Mario Kart 8 From the Pit, and noting the somewhat similar style of delivering the narrative (I find it notable in the way he says "Mega Mushroom!" in that giant-like style, among others), I can presume that Andrew Trego might (conjecturally) be the one who voiced the narrator in MKW Direct. - After I've watched every (available) episode of The Play Nintendo Show, I don't think its him. The MKW direct announcer's voice (somehow) sounds more energetic and high pitched.

Andrew's last name is never mentioned once in Mario Kart 8 From the Pit or The Play Nintendo Show. Because of this, the article is a weird mixture between being about the character from the web videos and the guy who acts as him. I think it would be better if we move this information into the Andrew disambiguation page and make this article about the actor himself. I don't see any harm in this because two of the people linked on that page are people who worked on the DIC cartoons, so the last names are retained. The only other character who is named "Andrew" in the Mario franchise is Andrew Iverson, an employee from The Software Toolworks who plays a role in the PC version of Mario's Time Machine. Unlike Trego, Iverson's last name is mentioned in the game.
If this proposal passes, the contents of the disambiguation page will be moved to Andrew (disambiguation).
