The Nintendo Special Big Band is a jazz[1] band that performed arrangements by Masanori Sasaji of themes from various Nintendo games and franchises.
The band first performed at Super Music Festival 2014 during Niconico Chokaigi 3, which took place on the weekend of April 26, 2014, in Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan.[2] On January 15, 2017, they performed at Nintendo Switch Hands-On Experience 2017 as part of Nintendo Game Music Live! alongside the newly-formed Nintendo Special Rock Band.
