Greater location Donkey Kong Island

Miffy-chan no Oka is a hill in Donkey Kong Island that appears in Super Mario: Donkey Kong 2 of the Super Mario Kodansha manga. It is an original location: a rabbit-shaped hill, based on the Dutch children's book series character Miffy.

In the third chapter of the manga, Mario and his friends go to Donkey Kong Island to visit Donkey Kong Jr. and Pauline after 12 years from their last encounter, discovering that they both grow up. Right after meeting up with the grown up Junior, a mysterious character reveals that he kidnapped the elderly Donkey Kong Snr. and, if they want him, they will have to face him at Miffy-chan no Oka, where a battle between the Kremling Krew and the heroes, assisted first by the Kongs' minions and then by the Animal Friends, ensues. Mario and DK ends up winning the fight, and Donkey Kong Snr. is rescued from the Giant Squirrel's clutches.
