KK Robo is a giant Sumo Brother robot sent by Bowser to destroy the Mushroom Kingdom in Super Mario Bros. 4: Super Mario World 7 of the Super Mario Kodansha manga.

To get revenge on the kids that left him struggling on his back years ago, Bowser creates a lot of robotic kaiju to sent against the kids, being Mario, Peach, and Daisy. KK Robo is sent to the Mushroom Kingdom, destroying the village with its fiery stomps and taking Peach away, storing her inside his head, where the control room is located. Bowser, pretending to be God, informs Peach that she needs to atone for her sin committed in her youth: kicking a little turtle away (him). Despite Peach claiming to have done it to save a defenseless Wiggler, God insists that in order to stop the kaiju she will need to marry that turtle. Peach refuses, and while the kaiju manages to stop the Great Bōeigun and prepares to burn the village, the same Wiggler Peach saved, now grown into a giant, arrives to save the Princess and pay back her debt (surprised by this, Bowser drops his disguise).

While occupied in dealing with the Mega Wiggler, who eventually ends up shocked to death, Mario sneaks inside the robot and tries to take Peach away, but he is instead shoved out of the kaiju's nostril. While falling, Mario turns into Fire Mario Great, while Yoshi rescues Peach. Prepared from last time, Bowser informs Mario that the KK Robo is built to absorb the damage inflicted, so he attacks it with a Fire Mario Beam. The KK Robo absorb the beam and overcharges to the point of exploding. Defeated, Bowser flees with the rocket ship built in the KK Robo's spike.
