Category talk:Gold variants

Move to "Gold variants"

I think I would prefer this category to be called "Gold variants". This name covers everything in the category, and does so more succinctly than "Gold enemies and items". It doesn't work for Golden Drink, but I think it should be excluded because it's not quite the same thing. Yes, it causes a gold transformation, but its fundamentally not a gold version of another entity and this category is not about colors. Salmancer (talk) 08:39, April 6, 2025 (EDT)

Correction: "This category shouldn't be about colors". Mostly to preempt creating categories for "red things", "blue things" and so on. "Red" as a category was brought up on the discord as a reason to not have a "gold" category. Salmancer (talk) 10:31, April 6, 2025 (EDT)

As the creator of the page, I support the idea. Its original name was Category:Gold, but on Discord, they told me that this name was better, although there are gold items that are not variants of something and are unique Sorbetti (talk) 21:12, April 11, 2025 (EDT)
