Template:Kart-infobox The Zucchini (known as the Gherkin in Europe and Australia) is an unlockable kart part in Mario Kart 7. It offers a speed boost while hindering acceleration and handling. The Zucchini may have been inspired by the Cucumber from Mario Kart DS. It resembles a mid sixties Formula One racecar, particularly those made by Lotus.
In terms of its hidden stats, the Zucchini hardly has any pros outside of its speed stat, and as a result, it has the lowest stat total of all the kart bodies in the game.
