Snow Guys are mountain-dwelling Shy Guys that inhabit Chapter 3: The Summit in Yoshi's Story, particularly 3-3: Poochy and Nippy and 3-4: Frustration. Their role is to fire snowballs at the Baby Yoshies from the background of the level where they cannot be defeated.
Snow Guys appear in Yoshi's Woolly World, and similarly throw snowballs at Yoshi, however, they appear in the foreground and much like a normal Shy Guy, they can be defeated.
