Template:Newsubject Template:Racecourse Wuhu Mountain Loop (known as Maka Wuhu in North America) is the final race track in the Star Cup of Mario Kart 7 which takes place on the sporty island of Wuhu.

Description

Yoshi on Waka Wuhu
Yoshi drifting on Wuhu Mountain Loop.

Unlike most other courses, Wuhu Mountain Loop has no laps, but a start- and endpoint and is divided in three sections. The race starts at the base of the island near the bridge and crosses the Wuhu Island Loop track. After some twists and turn the track heads into the caves on the mountain. Upon emerging from the cave the track loops around the side of the mountain and pass the island's castle before continuing to ascend the mountain, dodging rolling boulders as they go. At the top of the mountain players will then drive over a boost pad and glide down to the ocean and the finish line. If the player watches the racer after the race, it will show that the racer follows a path to the starting line.

Glitch

On this track, just after the start of the second section, in the mouth of the cave, if the player turns around and hops in the water just after the fence ends, or uses a Mushroom to hit the rocks on the wall, the racer will be catched by Lakitu and if done correctly, will make the racer start at another area of the track, next to Summerstone Castle and at the top of the mountain, near the third section.[1] This gives the racer a great advantage on the race, being easier to do in Time Trials as the player will start with three Mushrooms.
