The Comet is an unlockable bike that appears in Mario Kart 8. It resembles a jet. It offers a handling and acceleration boost at the cost of weight and traction. It has inside drifting, and shares its stats with the other non-DLC inside-drifting bikes, which includes the Sport Bike, the Jet Bike, and the Yoshi Bike.
A CPU-controlled Mario will occasionally use this bike body (paired alongside the Slim tires), making him the only Non-DLC character to use this bike body as a CPU as well as the only non-DLC CPU character to use a Sport Bike; the other CPUs (except Link, who might use the Master Cycle, and the Female Villager and also Isabelle, who might use the City Tripper) will only use the Standard Bike whenever they're using bikes.
