The Standard DK is Bowser's standard kart in Mario Kart DS. It features a light orange frame and the Bowser symbol (a red, stylized image of his head on a black background) used previously for the Bowser Space in the Mario Party series, unless the emblem is changed. It has one of the highest speed possible, tying with the Standard RB and the ROB-BLS, but also a very low acceleration and handling, matching the Hurricane.
