Template:Levelbox World 2-3 is the third course of World 2 in Super Mario 3D Land. Its platforms and music are based off of Super Mario Bros. The icon is a section of the course's colored blocks with smaller sections floating above them.

Layout

Mario starts in a platform shaped as himself in Super Mario Bros. There are three P-Switches — two located at Mario's overalls' buttons, and the other in Mario's ear. Here, a Propeller Box can be found. Through some giant blocks, Mario reaches a pixelated Super Mushroom platform. Here, a P-Switch makes a line of coins to appear. In one of the mushroom's spots, there is a Brick Block hiding a Tail Wheel. Twirling it with Tanooki Mario's tail causes the spot to rise and a Red Ring can be reached. Through some yellow and blue blocks with some Paragoombas, coins and a green + Clock, Mario lands in a Princess Peach 8-bit platform. There is another Tail Wheel, which raises Peach's dress stripe. Some Goombas and Coin Coffer‎s are found here, as well as a Super Star surrounded by coins in a heart formation. Ahead, a Warp Box leads the character to a grassy area, with a background that resembles the Super Mario Bros. style. A classic Hard Block staircase is used to reach the Goal Pole. Additionally, if Mario goes into the fortress, he goes into a hidden Warp Box which takes him into a pixelated 1-Up Mushroom platform, which has a 1-Up Mushroom on it and another Warp Box, which warps him back to the grassy area.

Star Medals

  • Star Medal 1: On the Mario platform, the right foot part contains a Brick Block with a Tail Wheel. Hitting it makes the platform rise up to a Luigi platform. The Star Medal is located there.
  • Star Medal 2: Between the Super Mushroom and Peach platforms, a Coin Ring can be seen with the Star Medal under it. Mario, using a Propeller Box, can grab the coin and fly back up to the block.
  • Star Medal 3: Mario must rise the Peach platform's dress stripe. The Star Medal is floating on the far left.
