Re: Thwack Sprites

You did a good job uploading sprites of Thwacks and the like, but when you upload images, keep in mind fixing the aboutfile template. Either fill in the parameters or delete the template altogether. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 16:23, 4 January 2016 (EST)

I forgot to mention this, but you should also categorize your images in their respective games: ie your MLBIS sprites should have [[Category:Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story Images]] inputted under your aboutfile. But still, you're doing a good job and continue uploading images. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 17:08, 5 January 2016 (EST)

Re:Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam

I don't have the game. In my region, the game isn't even out yet. So you're basically out of luck for now, unless Paper Jam releases in America. Even so, I have no plans in getting Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. You can however, try to find a game guide by Prima once the game comes out, that will probably tell you enemy stats. Image placement

Good work uploading the Paper Jam sprites. Please place images above the main text next time, as simply dumping them below takes up more space. Also, don't forget to italicise game titles like Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam next time as well; you can do this by clicking the letter "I" icon above the text box. Bump

It's possible you missed my post so: You've been italicising the game title section headings but not any you mention in text (particularly Paper Jam). You need to do the same thing every time you write a game title (Also please read what I said above). It's one of the rules. Other that that, keep up the good work. Thanks. Sprites

Thanks for that! I've also seen your post on your userpage, so double thanks for that! I'll consider doing those in the meantime, although one thing I need before making these sprites is some footage of of their idle animations so I can accurately reproduce them. I actually had to boot up Mario & Luigi: Dream Team to study their idle animations but I don't have a copy Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. I suppose I could just find the video myself, hah, but I'm gonna have to get off MarioWiki a bit for lunch so if you can fill in the time to help find a good depiction of the idle animations, it would be much appreciated! Re:Mario & Luigi:Paper Jam

To be honest, I don't know why they held off the release of this game. At least we got Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon first and I love it to death. Maybe take on a large project here or somewhere else or something. I'm making a pretty large project out of this wiki anyway. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 17:29, 13 January 2016 (EST)

Regarding towards your message, I'm only adding enemy stats that are available at the time. Until a user gets the game's "Prima Game Guide", the remaining stats are going to wait. Alien Bunny Sprite.pngL151Onnanoko

As a suggestion, when editing a page (namely your User page, in this case), please use the "Show preview" button before saving so you don't make like ten edits in a row. Hey

None of this is your fault, dude. I broke down because of real life, no one in this wiki is liable for the emotional damage I have succumbed to. I would love to talk to you again after I am not in an emotional trainwreck now. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 22:29, 20 January 2016 (EST)

Mario Wiki in a real Paper Jam

Sorry, but I don't have the game, and I have no idea how to crack into 3DS ROMs for data mining. --Zootalo (talk) 23:11, 23 January 2016 (EST)

Paper Jam Bestiary

Hey, Madbird82! Thanks for completing the bestiary! Wow, you did a great job with it. You're free to create the bestiary page if you wish. --Zootalo (talk) 13:56, 26 March 2016 (EDT)

Re:What most do you like about Toadette? Also, Why did the Paper Mario series go out of history?

I think Toadette is much more pleasant on the ears than Toad. And she's the only Toadette (unlike the millions of Toads) so I tend to like her more. As for Paper Mario, who knows. Probably because Nintendo sees Mario as this happy-go-lucky series for kids that shouldn't appeal to adults with more mature themes as well. That's why they likely faked the results to the Super Paper Mario survey, because they were ashamed of Intelligent Systems trying to put dark elements in Mario games. Either way, Sticker Star is not a good game and they sure as heck shouldn't have made another one like it. --Fawfulthegreat64Logo.png 01:17, 17 May 2016 (EDT)

Bump...again

Also, Fawfulthegreat64, you forgot to add your signature at the end...and the time too. I'm being nice, but can you please make sure to add the sig & date to the post up above?

User talk:Madbird82 14:19, 7 May 2016 (EDT)

Re:Hey! Can you please crop more Mario & Luigi: Dream Team sprites?

Apologies about the signature. I usually remember those things, can't believe I forgot it.

Anyway. About the DT sprites, I am sorry to say I don't have direct access to the game's files, and thus most of that stuff I can't do. Some of it is possible, but don't beg for me to do it quickly because I have other things I need to attend to. Sorry.--Fawfulthegreat64Logo.png 01:17, 17 May 2016 (EDT)

Dream Team bestiary pictures

Wow! Where did you find these? Did you rip these yourself? I'll get around to uploading them when I get a chance.

Something I've been meaning to ask because I'm just curious: how exactly were you able to acquire the stats for the Shiny Paper enemies from Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam? --Zootalo (talk) 16:17, 14 July 2016 (EDT)

Please stop bothering me as I'm uploading the rest of the sprites for you. Thanks. --Zootalo (talk) 21:49, 14 July 2016 (EDT)

Paper Jam enemy stats

Hey, Madbird, so how exactly did you come up with the stats for the Shiny Paper enemies and the values from Easy Mode? Did you carefully test how much damage was inflicted against the enemies and the Mario Bros.? Did you perhaps use a certain formula, or some hacking tool beyond the 3DS itself? No offense, but the whole "calculating in my head" statement really isn't a good enough explanation, especially if there's nothing the wiki can refer to for confirmation... How would anybody know these values are even correct? --Zootalo (talk) 12:25, 15 July 2016 (EDT)

I meant that I used a calculator to calculate them by "X+percentage=Y". Besides, I do know mathematics very well, Zootalo. And yes, I carefully tested on how much damage was inflicted against the enemies, but only the Paper Ninji and Paper Boo.

User talk:Madbird82 18:47, 15 July 2016 (EDT)

If that's the case, let's see a detailed example or formula you use to get the values for a Shiny Paper enemy (based on a regular Paper enemy)! Certainly there would be more variables than just "X+percentage=Y" -- you would also have to take into account defense, and whether or not the amount of damage inflicted by enemies is constant. --Zootalo (talk) 18:56, 15 July 2016 (EDT)
You mean to tell me, then, going by your percentages, because I never played Paper Jam anyway: if an ordinary Paper enemy consistently inflicts, say, 10 damage, the Shiny Paper version inflicts 15. And I presume, to gather the S.P. enemies' HP values (perhaps against the values Jdaster64 listed) would be a careful use of damage inflicting Battle Cards, right (which would also apply to their copies)? And for DEF, it would be just measuring how much damage the enemies would take against each other (i.e. Mario inflicts 20 damage against a regular, and 10 for S.P.)? For SPEED, would be consuming enough Speed Beans to eventually be faster than the S.P. version and gathering their SPEED value based on that? EXP and Coin values, those would be incredibly easy to calculate. With these percentages, then, you would confirm them with any Shiny Paper enemy you would encounter. Something like that? --Zootalo (talk) 19:37, 15 July 2016 (EDT)

Re: The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! Transcripts

I will get back to you on that. And may I ask, why don't you sign in to your account rather than posting the question while logged out?
