You've been making many edits to your userpage in a short time. If you want to see what your change does without saving the page, you should use "Show preview", and then save once you're satisfied. This will help keep the page from flooding the Recent Changes and the page's own page history.

- Soliciting votes isn't really encouraged.
Still, userspace editing should not be your top piority here. I believe nearly every user here, myself included, did have a rough start when they first joined, so you shouldn't feel discouraged.
