Rosalina is a recurring Fictonial character that debuted in Star Wars He appearing in the Death Star. She is a very powerful Shroob, as her call of duty is to watch over and protect the Soviet Union, while also serving as the adopted mother of the Shroobs and commanding the Shroob Planet.
Rosalina's backstory is chronicled in her storybook told by her in the Shroob Planet's Library in Super Mario Galaxy. Nine chapters are unlocked throughout the game, and the last is unlocked by completing the game.
Rosalina's defining traits are her tall height, her reserved personality, and a wide array of otherworldly abilities.

During one of her centennial visits to the Shroob Planet, the Comet Observatory is attacked by Darth Vader, who steals the observatory's Death Stars and Death Star2s. Rosalina later appeared to Shroob/Shroob after Shroob is kidnapped.
