It's just part of an attack that various enemies use and it doesn't stand by itself apart from the Shroobs as a significant collectible item or weapon with a name, unlike say, hammers or boomerangs. I've only heard it being refered as a Ray Gun in the NP guide.

Is this article even needed? They are never seen independent of various Shroobs themselves. We don't have articles for the flaming projectiles Autobombs shoot. -- Son of Suns
