Months later, but page 203 of the New Super Mario Bros. 2 Prima guide just refers to it as a "conveyor belt", page 201 Encyclopedia Super Mario Bros. groups it together with the regular conveyor belt (having the "ON/OFF" type as its second picture, though it does leave the switch separate), and it's internally the same beltconveyor object. The only other game its in also doesn't classify them uniquely though, otherwise the name wouldn't be conjectural.
