The phrase "flaming Pianta" comes up the most in the game's English guides. Should we move it to that? This Pianta (or Pianta''s''?) is always on fire whenever he's first met in the area, so it seems a bit more appropriate than the name that implies you can buy from him. I really do not think this is just one character. I'm pretty sure that at least once, potentially in the Red Coin Field, he's yellow. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:12, October 18, 2020 (EDT)

The phrase "flaming Pianta" comes up the most in the game's English guides. Should we move it to that? This Pianta (or Piantas?) is always on fire whenever he's first met in the area, so it seems a bit more appropriate than the name that implies you can buy from him. Really late, but the name is technically a newer name, plus, it's a direct translation of the Japanese name. PrincessPeachFan (talk) 11:18, October 26, 2023 (EDT)
Per polciy, "flaming Pianta" should objectively be prioritized over "mushroom dealer Pianta" if it comes from a Nintendo-published/affiliated guide book. Any names from the Encyclopedia that are not attested elsewhere are listed at #6. - Nintendo101 (talk) 16:45, November 17, 2023 (EST)
