“Welcome! Go ahead and fling a thing.”
Sling-a-Thing Toad, Paper Mario: Sticker Star

Template:Character-infobox The Sling-a-Thing Toad is a purple-colored Toad in Decalburg who runs the Sling-a-Thing Stand. He will appear west of the town square once Mario has collected the Fan thing in Bouquet Gardens. His job is to convert things into the stickers for free. If Mario is out of things and talks with the Fling-a-Thing Toad, he will whisper Mario to check the wall near him, where the Shady Toad sells things in similar way to black-marketing. The shopkeeper toad of Decalburg got jealous of him when he heard that a new shop has just opened in Decalburg. His motto is "Perky"

When tattled, Kersti will comment: "This operation looks a bit doggy, but I have to admit, the thing stickers are pretty amazing." Also a Red Toad at the Outlook Point does the same operation.

Quotes

  • Ah, look! You have a wonderful thing! My perk sensor can just tell.
  • So?! Pretty darn miraculous, huh?
  • You come over here, you fling a thing, and HEY PRESTO! It becomes a sticker. I call it a "thing sticker" because I'm a bit of marketing genius.
  • How about that! Pretty perky, no? From now on, stickers don't have to be something you find... They can be something you make too.

Trivia

  • Both of the operations: "selling things" and "creating thing stickers" were shown to be illegal marketing methods, referencing to black-marketing in real life.
  • The activity somewhat resembles to Li'l Oink Farm from the game Paper Mario.
