In ''NES Open Tournament Golf'', he is a young kid who wears a blue baseball uniform and a matching blue hat. The back of his shirt has a large "1". Mark is depicted with black hair and blue eyes. He is an amateur ranked golfer who can be challenged in match play. Mark only appears in the American version of the game, sharing this distinction with [[Steve]].
 
In ''Mario Tennis'', Mark was given a significant redesign. His hair is now a deep shade of red, and he now wears red colored tennis gear and purple sneakers. He is on the varsity team. In doubles, the player has to face him and [[Bob]] to get in the [[Island Open]]. Once beaten, he can be used as an All-Around character.
