Trivia
- Due to lyrics in certain songs, the North American release of the game ended up being rated T by ESRB, the only game in the Donkey Kong franchise, and the only non-Super Smash Bros. game in the entire Mario franchise, to have been rated as such. The European version of the game had different songs, and was given a 3+ rating by PEGI.
