Banana Bunch (minigame)
A Banana Bunch is a group of bananas usually worth ten bananas. They were first featured in Donkey Kong Country and reappeared in the the other games in the series. In Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong could find Banana Bunches by pounding the ground. Later, in Donkey Kong 64, Banana Bunches were worth five bananas. Additionally, Banana Bunches could only be collected by a Kong whose color matched it. Three giant Banana Bunches appeared in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat at the end of each level in the Banana Kingdom. When Donkey Kong bites one of these Banana Bunches, juice will pour out, and the level will end. In Mario Kart 64, the Banana Bunch consists of five Banana Peels that can be dropped on the track, since then Banana Bunches have been normal items in the Mario Kart Series, however in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and games after that, they only have three Bananas on them. In Mario Party 5 and the other Mario Party games after, Banana Bunches are worth five bananas. They were mainly found in Donkey Kong Mini-games.
