Dupree
Dupree is a blue, disco-diva wannabe Doogan-like creature with a pink afro and a French accent that may or may not be real. He appeared often in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. He first appeared trying to form a romantic relationship with Goombella in Petalburg, and from then on continued to reappear in the towns that Mario visited. He also flirted with many other women such as the wife of the Twilight Town shopkeeper, and the Bob-omb owner of Fahr Outpost's Inn. All of women he flirted with disliked him. The Inn Keeper even went as far as to throw him out of her Inn into the snow.
As the game goes on, Goombella continues to express her distaste for him, but she has to admit that she is impressed by how he always seems to know where Mario and company are going to be, and how he always gets there ahead of them.
