Could someone add a picture of the watermelon in Super Mario Galaxy? MisterJaffffeyPeteyPiranhaBanana.gif G0 Watermelon

In time, the picture will be added. It could be today, tommorow, a week from now, or even a few months. Super-YoshiMust...eat...sig...Talk? C???

Yoshi's Woolly World

Would the watermelon from YWW be considered just a watermelon or a Super Green Watermelon?

I just found out that they are Super Green Watermelons. They are also Watermelons.

Merge Watermelon (Yoshi's Island series) to Watermelon

An earlier comment by Somethingone has pointed out that there is little difference between the Yoshi's Island variant of the watermelon and the one that generally covers the appearances and I agree with that statement. The distinction between a "green watermelon" and just a regular watermelon has been blurred since it was renamed from green watermelon to just watermelon in later entries. Differences between the ones in Yoshi's Island practically just chalk up to some gameplay differences depending on the context of the game but so do every other item that are different across different genres of games. In addition, every other Super variant of the other watermelon's cousins (the Special Red Watermelon for example) are already merged with their article cleanly, so I also think this merge into the general watermelon article wouldn't be any less clean.

  1. Ray Trace (talk)
  2. Waluigi Time (talk) Per proposal.
  3. Hewer (talk) Per proposal (not sure why these were split to begin with).
  4. Paper Jorge (talk) Totally agree with Hewer, not sure why a split was ever deemed necessary
  5. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) - This was a separate article...?
  6. Somethingone (talk) Another month, another article-nobody-knew-existed-and-has-no-reason-to-exist. Per my comment on the other Watermelon page.
