Template:Infobox Return of Donkey Kong is a canceled Nintendo Entertainment System game announced in the Official Nintendo Player's Guide in 1987. Not much is known about the title. Some believe that it is a scrapped follow-up game of the original Donkey Kong, a precursor to the 1994 Game Boy Donkey Kong. Another possibility is being an earlier name for Donkey Kong Classics, a two-in-one cartridge containing Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr..

It is also possible that it was to be a Family Computer Disk System remake of the original game, in a similar fashion to Kaettekita Mario Bros. Template:BoxTop Template:DKGames Template:UnreleasedMedia
